Bewitched, Bewildered and Hot and Bothered
"Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince" opens with the boy wizard, now a hunky young man, hurriedly checking his breath after securing a date with a pretty Muggle waitress. And that's just the beginning of the sixth film in the series based on J.K. Rowling's novels of a wizard's magical education. They should have called it "Harry Potter and the Teenagers in Heat": Hermione fancies Ron! Ron can't keep his hands off Lavender Brown! Harry has a crush on Ron's sister Ginny!

Music Review: Nicholas Hooper, "Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince - Original Motion Picture Soundtrack"
Nicholas Hooper continues building on themes developed in "Order of the Phoenix," reflecting the darker, more somber turn the series of books and films takes at this point in the saga of J.K. Rowling's boy wizard. Of course, he's becoming less of a boy and more of a man, and Hooper's score incorporates that maturity while still retaining echoes of the more magical and innocent beginnings.

Dan Radcliffe talks about life at Hogwarts and beyond
Most movie sets are flimsy facades — the walls usually move when you lean against them — but not the airplane factory in Watford, England, that a decade ago was transformed into the Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry and built to last. The floors and walls are real stone, and no one knows their cracks and echoes better than Daniel Radcliffe.
Well, maybe that’s not entirely true. “I still get turned around in here,” Radcliffe said as he wandered through an especially dim corridor. “I couldn’t tell you the name of this set, but I know my way to all the sets. Well, pretty much.”

Emma Watson still 'quite intimidated' by pal J.K. Rowling
How many people get to meet their maker and live to tell the tale? Emma Watson, with a chuckle, said that’s how she has viewed the recent blossoming of her friendship with “Harry Potter” author J.K. Rowling.
During the filming of “Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince,” Watson contemplated the relationship she’s developed with Rowling, as she sat one brisk afternoon in her dressing room (relentlessly pink in its decor). “We talk, we e-mail each other now,” she said, nodding toward her laptop and that morning’s missive from the woman who is arguably the world’s most famous living young-adult author.

'Rupert Grint on the pain of love and Quidditch
Rupert Grint may walk on red carpets but with his glum smile and complete lack of pretension he seems as unaffected as the pub regulars enjoying afternoon beers back in his home village of Watton-at-Stone.
Grint will be just 21 next month, but he seems older around the eyes and, like his character Ron Weasley, he doesn’t seem as driven as the other two members of his famous trio. Daniel Radcliffe wants to be the Laurence Olivier of his generation, and Emma Watson is sorting through a handful of career options, but Grint, well, he seems to be meeting the future with a good-natured shrug.

Harry Potter' countdown: Ginny Weasley grows up
The Hero Complex countdown to the July 15 release of "Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince" continues today with Denise Martin's interview:
Bonnie Wright was just 9 years old when she was cast as the Ginny Weasley, the youngest of the ginger-haired Weasley siblings with a curious and admiring eye for Harry. It’s been 10 years since then, and while Wright is about to embark on filming the final two-parter, “Deathly Hallows,” her on-screen counterpart Ginny has taken some bold steps of her own into the worlds of dating and Quidditch.

Emma: Fans fine with scarier film
Emma Watson believes Harry Potter fans are old enough to cope with the scarier scenes in the latest movie.
Harry Potter And The Half-Blood Prince has very dark, thrilling scenes, but Emma said at the London premiere: "I think our audience has grown up with us and I think an older audience means that it needs more darkness, a little bit scarier."
The actress - who plays Hermione Granger - added: "You know, we need to kind of push them a little bit, so I think it's good."

'Harry Potter' Stars Don't Let Rain Dampen London Premiere
'The Half-Blood Prince' cast's spirits were high, despite the soggy red carpet.
Red-carpet movie premieres are a time for glitz and glamour, haute couture and hair-sprayed updos, strutting and posing for all to see. Usually.
At Tuesday night's London premiere for "Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince," the celebs were probably wishing they'd arrived rocking head-to-toe rain gear — or at least that the organizers had opted for a tent.
Yet Daniel Radcliffe, Emma Watson and the rest of the cast were in high spirits as they made their way down the carpet while assistants held clear plastic umbrellas over their heads.

Harry Potter 6 is On the Way! What Character Bends Your Wand?

Behind the scenes of the videogame Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince
EA has released some new information, screenshots and a making-of video (mysteriously titled, "Part 1") for their upcoming videogame adaptation of Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince.
Of particular note is the knowledge that players are, "free to explore every inch of the castle and its grounds." I'm not entirely sure what that even means in the context of an ever-changing, practically living structure, but EA says you'll be able to explore all of it and you'll do so in an open-world capacity.
