It has now been confirmed by Warner Bros that the world premiere of Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince starring Rupert Grint, Daniel Radcliffe and Emma Watson will take place in Japan on Monday, July 6, 2009. The London premiere will then take place on Tuesday, July 7th, and the New York premiere on July 8th. Although not confirmed yet, most likely the three stars will split up the promotional tour as they did for Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix.
