Here are the top 10 Harry Potter bloopers:
1. Harry, played by Daniel Radcliffe, normally has a scar on his forehead. When he talks to McGonagall and Snape about the necklace, there is no scar visible.
2. When Draco attacks Dumbledore, Bellatrix walks in wearing dark lipstick. In the side shot of Draco, when Bellatrix kisses him on the back of the head, she is wearing no lipstick. After a shot of Dumbledore, her lipstick has reappeared.

All the hottest movies to hit cinemas this year will now be at the mobile users' fingertips in the form of games. EA Mobile unveils four new games based on the most happening movies of 2009, including Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince.
The game is set in the interactive Hogwarts School and features an exciting gameplay. The game boasts of a free-roaming environment that includes the movies' main characters namely, Harry, Ron and Hermione. Players get to battle with dark and evil forces just like in the movie.

LEGO® Harry Potter Years 1-4 video game coming in 2010
Harry Potter LEGO® set fans rejoice! As part of the E3 Expo 2009 it was announced that Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment and TT Games are working with The LEGO Group to create a new video game based on the first four books in J.K. Rowling's Harry Potter series. The look of the video game will of course be drawn from the wildly popular LEGO® Harry Potter sets.
Kids will be able to play this exciting and humor-filled game as Harry Potter, Hermione Granger, Ron Weasley, and several other beloved characters from the books. Players will be able to participate in normal Hogwarts student activities and "attend lessons, cast spells, mix potions, fly on broomsticks and complete tasks to earn house points." Settings will include such familiar places as "Hogwarts castle, Diagon Alley, the Forbidden Forest and the village of Hogsmeade."

Bewitched, Bewildered and Hot and Bothered
"Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince" opens with the boy wizard, now a hunky young man, hurriedly checking his breath after securing a date with a pretty Muggle waitress. And that's just the beginning of the sixth film in the series based on J.K. Rowling's novels of a wizard's magical education. They should have called it "Harry Potter and the Teenagers in Heat": Hermione fancies Ron! Ron can't keep his hands off Lavender Brown! Harry has a crush on Ron's sister Ginny!

Music Review: Nicholas Hooper, "Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince - Original Motion Picture Soundtrack"
Nicholas Hooper continues building on themes developed in "Order of the Phoenix," reflecting the darker, more somber turn the series of books and films takes at this point in the saga of J.K. Rowling's boy wizard. Of course, he's becoming less of a boy and more of a man, and Hooper's score incorporates that maturity while still retaining echoes of the more magical and innocent beginnings.

Most movie sets are flimsy facades — the walls usually move when you lean against them — but not the airplane factory in Watford, England, that a decade ago was transformed into the Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry and built to last. The floors and walls are real stone, and no one knows their cracks and echoes better than Daniel Radcliffe.
Well, maybe that’s not entirely true. “I still get turned around in here,” Radcliffe said as he wandered through an especially dim corridor. “I couldn’t tell you the name of this set, but I know my way to all the sets. Well, pretty much.”

Behind the scenes of the videogame Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince
EA has released some new information, screenshots and a making-of video (mysteriously titled, "Part 1") for their upcoming videogame adaptation of Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince.
Of particular note is the knowledge that players are, "free to explore every inch of the castle and its grounds." I'm not entirely sure what that even means in the context of an ever-changing, practically living structure, but EA says you'll be able to explore all of it and you'll do so in an open-world capacity.

`Harry Potter' sweeps into theaters 2 days early
Harry Potter and his school chums are heading back to class a little sooner than expected.
"Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince" now is opening Wednesday, July 15, two days earlier than its previous release date, Warner Bros. head of distribution Dan Fellman said Tuesday.
That gives the movie a head-start on the weekend during what's shaping up as a highly competitive summer season for Hollywood, which has major franchise films opening virtually every week.
"Every day the kids are out of school in summer is just like an extra Saturday," Fellman said.
Warner Bros. also opened the franchise's most recent release, "Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix," on a Wednesday in July 2007.
Fine with us. That shaves two days off the oh-so-long wait for this movie's theater debut.

Synopsis for Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince

Harry Potter's sixth year at Hogwarts turns out to be quite the exciting year. First off is the arrival of a new teacher at Hogwarts, Horace Slughorn, who is a bit more useful to Harry than he realizes. Next, Harry obtains a Potions book which used to be belong to the very mysterious Half-Blood Prince. Harry finds that the Half-Blood Prince's ancient scribbles are written along the margins of almost every page, giving Harry advice on how to improve greatly on his Potions work, and also teaching him a few helpful (and dangerous) spells along the way.
Amidst this, Harry is starting private lessons with Professor Dumbledore, during which Harry learns the dark secrets of Voldemort's past, hoping that they could use these secrets to find a way to defeat him.
Harry's year gets even more stressful with the suspicious actions of Draco Malfoy, who has been sneaking around the school doing, so Harry assumes, Voldemort's bidding. Harry quickly becomes determined, and slightly obsessed, to find out exactly what Malfoy has been up to and putting and end to it.

Half Blood Prince Premiere Dates Announced!
It has now been confirmed by Warner Bros that the world premiere of Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince starring Rupert Grint, Daniel Radcliffe and Emma Watson will take place in Japan on Monday, July 6, 2009. The London premiere will then take place on Tuesday, July 7th, and the New York premiere on July 8th. Although not confirmed yet, most likely the three stars will split up the promotional tour as they did for Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix.

Harry Potter: the Exhibition Fan Report!
When you first walk into the museum, the Flying Ford Anglia is sitting in the main lobby. You can take pictures of it and stand next to the huge "Harry Potter: The Exhibition" sign. Then you head upstairs to where the exhibit is located. You can buy an audio component that has an introduction by David Heyman, and then throughout the exhibit you can listen to the stories behind the artifacts. Then you enter (I think they said that they were letting groups in every 7 1/2 minutes).
You walk through a tunnel and then go into a room and some people get to try on the sorting hat and get sorted. The man who holds the hat asks you which house is your favorite, and then you end up getting sorted into that house (we couldn't figure out how he did that... but we got sorted into Gryffindor). Then two big, wooden doors open and you move into a room and watch some clips from the movies. After those are finished, you head into a room where the Hogwarts Express is. The effects in that room are really nice, the lights are almost completely off, except for the light on the train, and there is smoke floating around in the room. Then you are headed into the first room of the exhibit: the common rooms.
You get to see the beds that they use in the films, the robes that the kids wear, the trunks that they bring to school, their wands and the school books. Some of my favorites were: the Maurader's Map, Harry's glasses, the parchment where all the members of the DA signed, the "I must not tell lies" parchment and the Gryffindor common room notice board. After the common room, you walk into a makeshift Hagrid's hut where you see some props from his hut, including the dragon's egg from Sorcerer's Stone, and all the different animal cages that he has. You are also allowed to sit in his huge chair, the one that the trio sat in during the first film. Then you move into the different classes at Hogwarts, potions, DADA, herbology and divination. You get to see the different cauldrons used in the potions classrooms, as well as professor Slughorn's costume and wand from the upcoming movie. You can also see the crystal balls, Professor Lockhart's fanmail and costume, and there is even a section devoted to Umbridge. There was a part when they allowed you to pull on the mandrakes, and they would scream.

What's in Store at the Official Harry Potter Exhibition in Chicago
The Official Harry Potter Exhibition at Chicago's Museum of Science and Industry will be opening its doors to the general public in just a few more days, and some lucky fans who have memberships to the museum were invited to preview what's in store, including Lauren's friend Jen, who was kind enough to send in a delightful write-up for all to enjoy. The way they have it set up, tickets are purchased for a certain time, you get in line with the people at your time and are let in by group every eight minutes or so. If you're late you can go with the next group. There is no food, drink, bathrooms or photography. Once you leave the exhibit you can't go back in without buying tickets for a new time, and they're sold out for days to come.
The Exhibit is in a tent outside the old main entrance to the museum. I was happy about this because I couldn't think of where they'd put it inside and have proper space. I was going to die if it didn't seem like there was enough to see! The new entrance to the museum is underground at the bottom of the parking garage, and the Ford Anglia is on display. This was the only thing I could take pictures of since photography inside is strictly forbidden. I was going to try for pics with the camera in my phone, but security was everywhere and I'd have died if I'd been thrown out before I saw everything there was to see!
When we first got there we were waiting with the people who were in the time slot before us and someone told us we weren't starting for nine minutes and could walk around for a bit. I replied I'd waited in line for way longer than nine minutes for Harry Potter and I was happy to stand there.
When we finally entered, the first thing we saw at the bottom of a long tent like hallway was a room with the Sorting Hat sitting on a stool in front of a stained glass window. There was a lovely British lad in charge at that point, and he asked for a volunteer to be sorted, and a little guy of about eight was chosen. He hoped for Gryffindor and was sorted into Hufflepuff. The voice of the Sorting Hat and what it said was straight from Sorcerer's Stone, which was great. Then a girl of about 10 from my town of all places was chosen, and she was also sorted into Hufflepuff. Very cute and fun and everyone in the group was laughing and happy.

New Details from Harry Potter, the Exhibit
Previews are now underway for Harry Potter, the Exhibit at the Chicago Museum of Science and Industry. Following on our reports from over the weekend, TLC reader Michael was able to get an early tour yesterday, and sent in some new delightful details of the props and set pieces used in the Harry Potter films fans attending the exhibit can expect to see.
A video montage of the first five Harry Potter films starts things off, with the images "concluding with it looking like the Hogwarts Express entering the station into Hogsmeade. A side wall then opened up "to reveal the scarlet stream engine." You entered into Gryffindor Tower with an animated paintings of The Fat Lady "attempting to break the glass with her voice (very cool!)." Fans will be able to see things such as the Marauders Map "Hermione's wand, time-turner and planner and the members list of Dumbledore's Army," as well as Neville's Mimbulus Mimbletonia.

In the Great Hall of Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, breakfast is underway, tables heaped with sausages and toast, casually dressed students talking and eating. Ron Weasley (Rupert Grint) stands in the doorway, dressed in full red-and-gold Quidditch kit, nervously surveying the room.
He enters. Fellow students slap him on the back as he walks down the central aisle. "Good luck, eh, Ron?" "Countin' on you, Ron!" "I've got two Galleons on Gryffindor!"
A huge guy blocks Ron's progress. He stops, they do a side-to-side dance, Ron has to squeeze by the guy to get to his table.

The stars of HARRY POTTER are getting a makeover from the team behind BRAD PITT's transformation for THE CURIOUS CASE OF BENJAMIN BUTTON - they're set to be digitally aged for the final movie.
Daniel Radcliffe, Emma Watson and Rupert Grint are currently filming for the last two-part movie of the franchise, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows.
The epilogue of the J.K. Rowling novel takes place 19 years in the future, when their characters are in their thirties.
But instead of casting older actors to play them, movie bosses are using digital technology to age them - the same technique used in Pitt's hit film.
Producer David Heyman says, "We were looking at different ways of doing it, other actors and so on. And then we saw The Curious Case Of Benjamin Button and that ageing technology so I think we'll try that because I'd feel terrible about having other people take those parts at the last gasp."

Warner Bros has officially released the third and likely final trailer for Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince. You may have noticed that a low res version of the trailer leaked earlier today thanks to E! Online. But now the higher resolution trailer is now available, as well as HD viewing options. New Trailer: Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince
His wand is a little bigger, and his face is a little more worn that it was, but Harry Potter's seemingly still in control of his powers - and will no doubt use it to his advantage at the box-office come July.
Here's the impressive new trailer for "Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince", released in July.
Voldemort is tightening his grip on both the Muggle and wizarding worlds and Hogwarts is no longer the safe haven it once was. Harry suspects that dangers may even lie within the castle, but Dumbledore is more intent upon preparing him for the final battle that he knows is fast approaching.
This movie promises to be a worthy addition to the Harry Potter saga.

New 'Half-Blood Prince' Trailer to Debut via Satellite
A new trailer for 'Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince' is expected to make its worldwide satellite debut this Thursday, April 16.
After releasing "Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince" teaser trailer via satellite last year, Warner Bros. will once again use a satellite feed to debut a new trailer for the action fantasy. Through a press release, the studio announced that the trailer will be premiered on Thursday, April 16, at 9 P.M. EDT/6 P.M. PDT.
In addition to the Thursday debut, the trailer will also go up live on satellite feed the next day on Friday, April 17 at 6 A.M. EDT/3 A.M. PDT. The coordinates for both feeds are Galaxy 3C, Transponder 21, C-Band Analog with downlink frequency at 4120 H.
Great news for all Potter fans!
